• What we collect: Your approximate GPS location when you use the app
• How we use it: To find the nearest regions and provide relevant mushroom forecasts
• Storage: Location data is NOT stored on our servers or in any database. It is used temporarily in-memory to calculate the nearest regions and then discarded immediately.

1.2 Device Identifier

• What we collect: A unique device identifier (Device ID)
• How we use it: To provide anonymous authentication and preserve your subscription status across app reinstalls
• Storage: Stored securely in our database, associated with your anonymous account

1.3 Subscription Data

• What we collect: Apple subscription transaction ID, subscription tier (monthly/quarterly/annual), subscription status (active/expired/free), and expiration date
• How we use it: To manage your premium access and subscription status
• Storage: Stored securely in our database

1.4 Technical Data

• What we collect: App version, crash reports, and basic usage analytics
• How we use it: To improve app performance, fix bugs, and enhance user experience

• Apple Inc. – for subscription processing and verification through the App Store
• Service providers – who help us operate our infrastructure (e.g., hosting providers) under strict confidentiality agreements

• Device ID and subscription data: Retained while your account is active

• Subscription history: Retained for accounting purposes for up to 7 years as required by law

ShroomCast is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with data, please contact us immediately.
